Marc D. Kozin

Marc Kozin joined the board of directors for Chimerix in March 2024.  Mr. Kozin brings more than 35 years of experience in corporate and business strategy consulting, merger and acquisition advisory services, and value management. Mr. Kozin previously served as President of L.E.K., a global strategy consulting firm.  During his tenure at L.E.K., Mr. Kozin established the Boston office and led the development of the firm’s industry leading life science strategic planning practice. He advised senior executives in life sciences to help them identify new growth opportunities, build value, pursue highly-profitable mergers and acquisitions, and support sustained growth.   Mr. Kozin previously served on several Board of Directors  with successful exits, Endocyte to Novartis, Dyax to Shire, and Dicerna to Novo.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of UFP Technologies (NASDAQ: UFPT) and HCRx Holdings.

In 2002, Consulting Magazine named Mr. Kozin one of the 25 most influential consultants in recognition of his leadership and results for clients. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Duke University, and an M.B.A. with distinction from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
